Tech Education That Meets Students Where They Are

We're aware of NYC Public Schools' new AI and screen-time guidelines—and Fix It With Piggy is ready.

Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, student-facing generative AI is not permitted for students in grades 2K–8, while students in grades 9–12 have limited, guided access through approved programs and career-readiness pathways.

We have already adapted our curriculum to align with these changes.

No AI? No problem. Our programming has never depended on AI alone. We offer hands-on technology experiences in electronic repair, computer hardware, IT support, troubleshooting, digital systems, technical problem-solving, and career exploration that can be delivered without student-facing generative AI.

For eligible high school programs, we can also incorporate responsible AI literacy and applied technology when permitted by NYCPS guidelines.

Every child deserves access to meaningful tech education—whether AI is part of the classroom or not.
